Directions
From Fertőd we arrive in Sarród on the EV13 cycle path. As we cycle through the village, the atmospheric, traditional buildings of folk architecture line the main street. On the outskirts of the village, near the Catholic church, we continue our tour with a sharp left turn.
We soon reach Kócsagvár (), the largest thatched building in Hungary, the center of the Fertő-Hanság National Park. We cycle further north to the village of Fertőújlak (formerly Mekszikópuszta).
