Lőver Alpine Park

New forest sports and leisure park in Lőverek.

The Lőver Alpin Park is actually an exciting forest playground, leisure and adventure park for children on the edge of the Sopron Park Forest in Lőverek.

The adventure park was created in the summer of 2020 on the site of a former quarry, near Hotel Lövér and the “Várisi úti” bus turnaround.

On a part of the more than 6,000-square-metre area of the Alpine Park a bark-covered walkway was built, along which various wooden balancing and mobility games were installed, where you have to proceed on beams, rope courses and stepping stones. There is also a climbing wall, swings, slides, a sandpit and a skill track. The Mini-Bike cycling park is a winding track with smaller and larger dips and hills, with wooden undulating ramps in between.

The KRESZ (traffic code) asphalt track is designed for small cyclists and teaches them how to behave in traffic. In the course of planting, more than one hundred leafy trees, four hundred shrubs and more than 2,200 square metres of lawn were planted.

The Alpine Park is open during the daytime (01 March - 31 October, 08:00 - 20:00, 01 November - 28 February, 08:00 - 17:00) and is free of charge.
