Kópháza Lookout Tower
The newest lookout point in the Sopron Park Forest is on the vineyard hill in Kópháza, which was created in cooperation with the TAEG Forestry and the Kópháza Council.
You can get to the tower from main road 84 through the Local History Educational Trail. Walking along the educational trail you can get to know the history and traditions of the village, which is mostly inhabited by Croatians, as well as the attractions of the vineyard. The lookout tower stands next to the Matthiashütte built in 1750 on the vineyard hill. From the yiew point you have a view of the Sopron Mountains and the Lake Fertő.
