Snowflakes Nature Trail

The Snowflakes nature trail is located in the southern tip of Rábaköz, on the border of Csáfordjánosfa, in a swamp forest, home to 200–300-year-old trees.

It got its name from the flower called spring snowflakes, which are in full bloom from late February to early March, creating a white carpet of flowers. Walking along the gravel path, you can admire the bloom of the snowflakes, and you can cross the river branches of the Répce floodplain on wooden bridges. On the 4-kilometer-long nature trail, 5 information boards showcase this special floodplain habitat. (GPS: 49° 25' 60.46" N ; 23° 25' 32.47" E).
