“Naturally Music!” – Piano Concert by Balázs Réti
“Fourth Movement” – under this subtitle, Ligneum announces its fourth music season, during which the concert series “Naturally Music!” once again offers classical music lovers magnificent concerts.
In this cooperation between the University of Sopron and the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, talented students from the Academy will take the stage across five concerts in the series. However, this year's season also features a special guest.
At the first concert of the fourth season, it will not be a student performing, but rather the General Vice-President and outstanding piano professor of the Academy of Music, Balázs Réti, appearing as a guest artist.
This special piano evening is not only the opening of this year's series, but also a tribute to the heroes of the 1956 events – to which the University of Sopron warmly invites all music lovers from Sopron. On Monday, October 26, from 7:00 PM, works by Liszt, Kodály, Bartók, and Puccini will be performed. As an exception, the venue for this gala concert will not be the Ligneum, but the Liszt Hall of the Liszt Center, ensuring there is enough space for everyone interested.
Admission to the concert is free, but registration is required. You can register via email at ligneum@uni-sopron.hu until October 19.
