Music House- Fertőd
The Music House next to the Esterházy Castle in Fertőd was originally the residence, pharmacy and medical apartment of Joseph Haydn and the musicians and singers of the Esterházys.
Haydn is commemorated on the facade of the Music House by a relief compiled by Pál Esterházy. Here you will also find the Local History Exhibition, which presents the past of Süttör and Eszterháza. The Haydn Memorial Room features a bust of the composer, copies of his works, and other documents related to him. There is now a music school operating in the building.
