Kőhalmy Tamás Hunting Museum

It is an admission-free museum in the Sopron Park Forest, which introduces visitors to the natural values and game management of the forest.

On the lower level of the building, which also includes a three-storey museum, next to the buffet, there is a 50-seat classroom equipped with modern audio-visual equipment. On the first floor the characteristics of the park forest is presented, while on the top floor, those interested can get acquainted with the wildlife of the area and the legacy of Tamás Kőhalmy, a forest engineer and professor of wildlife biology. The museum is part of the Károly-elevation Ecotourism Visitor Centre.
