Ferenc Liszt Cultural Centre

The Ferenc Liszt Cultural Centre is one of the most significant institutions not only for the city of Sopron, but also for the region.

One of the most important public buildings in Sopron since 1873 is the Ferenc Liszt Conference and Cultural Centre, which reopened on October 25, 2002 after its external and internal renovation.

The former house of culture was converted into a multifunctional facility with a capacity of 1,200 people. The institution hosts a number of cultural events, classical and pop concerts, exhibitions and conferences, as well as organizing such events itself.

It is a great venue for events, the lecture and section rooms feature state-of-the-art technical equipment, air conditioning, and the qualified technical staff offer countless possibilities. Those interested can choose from several function rooms. They are in contact with several catering companies that provide professional services for coffee breaks and other catering services. An underground garage is available in the immediate vicinity of the building.

The building also houses the ticket office, where you can buy tickets for the performances of the Petőfi Theater and the Cave Theater.

There is also a cosy café where you can even meet actors!
